On November 13-14, 2018, at the Battambang Province Hall conduct a seminar on Mainstreaming an Alternative care Policy and Dissemination legal framework, Procedure of Inter-country Adoption, presided by H.E Mr Soung Menglong, Secretary of State, Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and H.E Mrs Nhek Sokun Deputy Governor of Battambang.
The purpose of this seminar is
- To mainstream policies, standards, guidelines on alternative child care procedures to promote childcare, and explain the roles and responsibilities of relevant units to participate in the child protection system
- Mainstreaming and strengthening the capacity of sub-national officials involved in compiling child-friendly textbooks and providing appropriate services to vulnerable and vulnerable children in obtaining permanent families.
- Provide understanding of Inter-Adoption procedures implemented by relevant individuals, especially the ILO staff, CCWC officer, WCCC officer, Social Work, Related officials and CSOs in province.
