    Good morning,
    I am single Italian woman and I would like to adopt a child from Cambodia. I am willing to move to Cambodia and become a temporary resident. I am writing to find out if it is currently possibile to start the Adoption process as foreign inside Cambodia and if yes how long do I need to be resident before starting the process.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My husband (a Dutch citizen) and I (a Brazilian citizen) have great
    interest in adopting a Cambodian child, but do not know how to proceed.
    We currently live in Brazil, a country that does not house adoption
    agencies (it is all done by the Brazilian government), so we do not
    have access to a local agency that could help us with this matter. We
    have passed the Brazilian procedure and have a certificate that states
    we are eligible to adopt. We are able and happy to provide all this
    documentation.

    However, in Brazil there are a few thousand kids to be adopted and
    almost 30.000 families in line. At this rate, we will be in line for
    5-6 years until we are called, so we started looking into
    international adoption, since our family is already international.

    Would your institution be the one we need to contact in order to learn
    about and possibly be able to apply to adopt a Cambodian child?

    I’d appreciate every and all information you can give us.
